Artist statement: My intent as a painter is to show something to my viewers in a way they have not seen before. To share my vison of the world and the people in it.
I want people to like my work but more importantly I want viewers to want to spend time with my work. To look at it more closely to contemplate the narrative of it. To get to know the people they see on the paper or to travel to the place I have painted.
