Artist Statement: "Seeing is believing,” they say. Humans are driven by sight. But what about the beauty that we cannot see? The splash of water flowing into a rock creates beauty that is so fleeting it cannot be seen by the human eye. You might never imagine what kind of image can be made by a splash. I wanted to create this fish coming from a splash of water to express my view point through inspiration. What unexpected and beautiful things might we see if we didn’t limit ourselves to our surrounding realities?
