Artist statement: I paint to share an open heart and a sense of irony that surrounds all of us every day. My paintings seem to end up evoking a little smile and a subtle shake of the head, even if I am not aware of that feeling while I am painting. I take great pleasure in being part of the painting community and supporting all of the artists around me. It is such a privilege to be living the life of an artist!
