Artist Statement: Each painting is an adventure for me. I have attempted to make an imaginary landscape with some abstract shapes. I have abused the paper with scratches from a razor blade and sandpaper. A limited palette complements the busy surface. I have been a full-time artist for over 45 years and still work in my studio every day at 85.
