Artist Statement: "Watercolor is my favorite artistic medium. I love watercolor’s vibrancy, its translucent quality and the immediacy that it has. It allows me the capacity to express myself clearly.
I’ve been fascinated with floral and botanical images for many years. There is natural beauty to plants and flowers that is missed if you’re not digging in the dirt. Although I paint many other subjects, painting botanical images is my first love."
