Artist Statement: I saw these women deeply connected to one another, yet each emitting a streak of individual strength and personality. Watercolor on Yupo holds every bit of color, so best represented this vibrant relationship and sustained friendship. The colorful and texture-filled background was unlike their actual setting, yet represented more the richness among them.
