Artist Statement: The painting style I'm most attracted to is realism. It’s within the past two years that the images of timepieces are becoming ever more present in my paintings. It’s not only the fact that I collect them, but also more likely due to my own thoughts and concerns of aging. Time Slot, created in 2019, symbolizes my “retirement” from illustration, and my total commitment to fine art watercolors.
