Artist Statement: My painting is influenced by the Trompe L'oeil, Constructivism and Photo Realism movements. While I don't adhere to all the cannons of either school, I feel at home with their ideals. My images hover somewhere between abstraction and realism. They are about creating both shallow ephemeral space and material presence.
