Over the past few years I have become intrigued with the excitement of studying waterfalls with watercolor. The technique used incorporates an abstract, alternative process for the beginning glazes and develops into the realistic completion seen in this painting. I try to represent the individual "personality" of each, whether it be the fury of powerful water or the soft, lacey drippings of a more serene and quiet falling.
