In many ways my work has been influenced by the Dutch masters, using texture, depth of value and hue with natural light playing over patterns and reflections to create detail so intense and realistic you could almost smell the flowers. Watercolor is arguably the most difficult to work with, but for me, the challenges and advantages the medium presents result in a breathtaking luminosity. My passion for painting in watercolor is ceaseless; my love for still life transcends artistic trends.
