David Poxon RI, NWS. This is a favourite tractor which works the fields regularly by my studio in Shropshire England. Like a beast of burden it is faithful to its handler. I have made several works of this machine, each one by virtue of the transient nature of our watercolour medium, takes on a different character. As it submits gracefully to the aging process the fragile surfaces become more beautiful, a perfect subject for multiple glazes in transparent pigments.
