Curves, reflections, flowing lines, and movement are often embodied in the work. The opaque qualities of gouache produce flat shapes of color. My direction for the future will be to develop gouache paintings where the concept that the mechanical aspect of the machine becomes less of the focus and that images from nature will become equal or will rise above the subject in an emotive and exciting blending of the two.
