Kathleen Conover - Momentum
An emersion in nature and a fascination with changing technology is melded in my work by juxtaposing organic, calligraphic marks against structured divisions and geometric shapes. Always allegorical, my work is an expression of the relationship between humans and nature: humans represented by structure and nature by the freer, organic elements. Between our ever-changing technological society and my living along the shore of Lake Superior, I am never at a loss for inspiration.
