Artist Statement:
Utah brings so many beautiful vantage points it’s a dream to paint. From my travels, I chose this scene for the sense of depth, then experimented with complimentary colors Yellow and Violet making cool colors dominant. This view point called for captivating colors, dramatic spots of sunlight and exciting shadows.
