Here I sit, a cell phone in hand, internet on command, taking a trip through many historical timelines. I am a history buff so I know wars have always been the norm. This painting depicts wars of the nineteenth and twentieth century, primarily the tragic Civil War to end slavery. Who knows what we are heading for in this century? Peaceful interludes are rare. I ardently pray for peace.
