Artist Statement:
Liang Yan, born in Meishan, Sichuan, has successively experienced students, educated youth, soldiers, and staff. In 1972, he began to study painting. He joined the army in 1977 and engaged in cultural and art work in the army. In 1981, he was demobilized and joined the Labor and People's Cultural Palace of Leshan City to work in fine art photography until his retirement. He is engaged in design work such as architecture and decoration. China Senior Interior Designer Member of the National Watercolor Society (NWS) Member of the Louisiana Watercolor Society (LWS) LWS Global Membership member Watercolor Artist Committee of Sichuan Artists Association Director of Sichuan Leshan Artists Association Researcher of Leshan Painting and Calligraphy Institute.
