Artist Statement:
I started learning watercolors from my father some 50 years ago. So I never had second thoughts when I left Architecture after third year to join Fine Arts. My thesis topic was ‘glimpses of indigenous art’. Ever since my subject and interest is to explore native roots of arts and images of our land. watercolors are my primary medium for long time. I explore, personalities of a person and city in portraits and cityscapes. For me painting is a process of not only discovering the world, but yourself.
