Stephanie Goldman - Water and Air I
Watercolor painting by Stephanie Goldman.
Artist Statement: This painting was created during a three hour life drawing session. The water and pigment move with the model to create textures, shapes and unexpected layers of light and shadow. Aussie Gold and Ultramarine Blue were the primary pigments used.
Stephanie Goldman is a long time figure and portrait painter. Her paintings explore the individual human drama that is universal in nature and yet personal to each individual story. She teaches figure and portrait painting, creates healing art for public places and is a volunteer on several art boards.
